Install and first launch

Download Flyby Ahead, move it to Applications, and connect Apple Calendar.

Requirements

A Mac with Apple silicon
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later

Install

Buy Flyby Ahead from the official AMYOT LABS shop. Your Gumroad receipt contains the download link.
Open the downloaded FlybyAhead-<version>.dmg.
Drag Flyby Ahead onto the Applications folder.
Open Flyby Ahead from Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so a double-click is enough.

Flyby Ahead lives in the menu bar at the top right of your screen, as a small plane icon. It does not stay in the Dock.

First launch

Flyby Ahead offers two choices:

Use Apple Calendar. macOS asks for Calendar permission only after you choose this.
Skip for now. The app stays inactive until you connect a calendar.

After your calendar is connected, Flyby Ahead asks whether it should open when you log in. Choose Enable Launch at Login if you want it. You can change this later from the menu bar with Launch at Login.
